Andromeda are celebrating after a fantastic evening at the Building Controls Awards on May 14th, where Simon Camm was presented with the Engineer of the Year Award.
Simon, a Senior Project Engineer for Andromeda, received the award at the ceremony in Coventry, which was well-attended by controls industry professionals. Andromeda were also runners-up in the Energy Management category for the Heathrow T5 project. This level of recognition is significant in the light of stiff competition, and the fact that this year sees Andromeda's debut in the awards.
Andromeda are delighted that Simon has received this accolade, as he is a valuable member of the engineering team and an excellent ambassador for the company. His award entry also included impressive testimonials from clients, with David Kitching, Business Development Manager for Siemens Building Technologies stating:
“I have known Simon Camm for the last three years and he has particularly impressed me with his ability to find reliable engineered solutions to our lighting and blind controls for our building in Frimley. His dedication to solving problems under very tight timescale situations is unsurpassed and he continues with enthusiasm to offer system enhancements that adds to client comfort with further carbon saving strategies. A quality of flexible secure design skills to solve real time problems by the application of deliverable innovative ideas is exactly what our Industry needs and when you add this to genuine customer care, in my opinion you have a first class Engineer. That is Simon.”
